8 January 2016 - WWF, Green humphead parrotfish - 4 stamps issued in sheets of 16 (4 x 4 different designs), sheetlets of 8 (2 x 4 different designs), 1 shaped miniature sheet containing 4 x MVR22 values and 1 shaped miniature sheet containing 1 x MVR70 (all of these exist perforate and imperforate) and 4 x MVR22 imperforate single stamp miniature sheets.

18 January 2016 - Miscellaneous philatelic products in the form of 9 "sheetlets" each containing 4 different "stamps" (5 x 4 x Mvr 20 and 4 x 4 x MVR22) and 9 "miniature sheets" (5 x MVR60 and 4 x MVR70) on the same subjects. It is unlikely that these items were on routine sale at ordinary post office counters in Maldives. The subjects depicted are Fire engines, Nobel Prize laureates of 2015, Seaplanes, British trains, the Apollo space missions, the Discovery of liquid salty water on Mars, Lighthouses, the Maldivian Red Crescent and Tall ships. These items were also produced in imperforate formats.

3 February 2016 - "Great painters" (none of them Maldivian) - 10 "sheetlets" each containing 4 different stamps (5 x 4 x MVR22 and 5 x 4 x MVR20) and 10 "miniature sheets"(5 x MVR70 and 5 x MVR60). It is unlikely that any of these were put on routine sale at ordinary Maldivian post office counters. The featured subjects are Johannes Vermeer, Vincent Van Gogh, Diego Velazquez, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Peter Paul Rubens, Eugene Boudin, Francisco Goya, Salvador Dali, Gustave Caillebotte and Pablo Picasso.

B. inscribed "Mozambique" (Republic within The Commonwealth)

15 January 2016 - Wildlife - 15 "sheetlets" each containing 4 different "stamps" and 15 "miniature sheets".

C. inscribed "Sierra Leone" (Republic within The Commonwealth)

28 January 2016 - Wildlife - 20 "sheetlets" each containing 4 different "stamps" (20 x 4 x Le6000) and 20 miniature sheets (20 x Le24,000). The subjects depicted are Hippopotami, Turtles, Lions, Killer whales, Dolphins, Owls, Leopards, Primates, African bush elephants, Butterflies, Cuckoos, Doves, Hawks, Manatees, Red river hogs, Lizards, Whales, Hyenas, Fish and Crocodiles.

26 February 2016 - Miscellaneous subjects - 20 sheetlets each of 4 different "stamps" (1 x 4 x Le3500 and 19 x 4 x Le6000) and 20 "miniature sheets" (19 x 4 x Le24000 and 1 x 4 x Le14000). The featured subjects are:- 120th Birth anniversary of Otto Lillenthal, the Outbreak of Zika virus in South America, 5th anniversary of the death of Elizabeth Taylor (US actress), 75th anniversary of Lord Baden-Powell (founder of the scouting movement), Champions of the "Winter Games Sochi", Dogs and tanks of World War II, Visit of Pope Francis to New York, "A Tribute to Edwin Mitchell" (astronaut), 85th death anniversary of Thomas Edison, 80th Birthday of Pope Francis, 90th death anniversary of Claude Monet, 90th death anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore, "2016 Summer Games" Rio De Janeiro, 55th Birth anniversary of the late Diana Princess of Wales, 90th Birthday of Queen Elizabeth II, 75th anniversary of the Japaese assault on Pearl Harbor, 135th Birth anniversary of Pablo Picasso, 260th Birth anniversary of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, 90th Birth anniversary of the late Marilyn Monroe.
